I have a Celestron C5 Plus , with the optional declination motor. I have a C5 CAT mounted. Both declination and azimuth manual control knobs work when adjusting viewing of objects. My question is about the Celestron hand control - pressing the up/down or left right buttons on the hand control have no effect - the object viewed in the eyepiece just slowly drifts out of view. I have a fresh 9v battery installed, and when I press the up/down buttons on the hand control I can see both of the external declination gears moving - but this does nothing to adjust the object being viewed in the eyepiece. Likewise, pressing the left/right buttons on the hand control have no effect, even if the azimuth clutch is loose or tight.
    Any suggestions ?
