Another observation of Jupiter, another sketch 2022 is awesome.

This time I've got the GRS with many new features including a new white oval storm. I am very happy with that observation and had the greatest luck to receive my Lumicon 82a filter AND try it with a very good sky on the very same day.

    I must deserve it somewhere.

Great observation report and sketch. I'm happy that the Lumicon 82a worked well for you on Jove. You would think 82a filters would all be the same/similar, but your experience shows otherwise. Would be interesting to compare the bandpass of the two filters.

They are very very different, i published a picture in another thread, here it is again.

the difference is HUGE, the lumicon looks white but it's very light blue. I'll give the filter a shot tonight again, the telescope is cooling outside right now, it will be ready in 25 minutes for another Jupiter observation!
