    It was an exceptionally clear night and I couldn't resist taking some shots in between observing (with no less than three telescopes, lol). I include captions and line drawings when necessary in some of the photos to facilitate seeing the form of the constellations. Here we go!

    Is it me, or is Leo the only constellation that vaguely resembles what it's actually called lol? I mean, I look up at it in the night sky and I really can see a lion. I can usually see M44 with the naked eye, but Cancer a crab? Don't get me started about Camelopardalis!

    I agree, Leo closely resembles what it's supposed to represent, but some of these others? Camelopardis, lol!

    I'm still not sure about the Great Bear, I can see a plough, but a bear? lol
