    I just seen something about a dark matter hurricane or tornado heading this way but now I can't find it :(

    Geesh! What a headline! This sounds serious, but the article doesn't lead you to be worried about its effect on Earth:

    Researchers predict the event to lead to the production of charged particles on Earth. These particles could then create light for researchers to pick up with crystal or liquid xenon detectors.

    This could be old news but it was new to me.
    Orion25 I see what you are saying but still with so little known about dark matter how do they know what the threat level is?
