It's been a month. I had the flu for three weeks, then the weather just didn't cooperate. Tonight, my son and I had to salt the road, as more snow is coming. I had figured that it would be cloudy, but not like you would think. I had clear areas that allowed my son and I to plop down on a rock and gaze up at the heavens. I almost forgot how cool it is roaming through the universe.

I have a new scope, that I haven't got to use too much. Tonight we had "rural living agricultural" chores, but it was nice to take a alf an out out with the binos and look up for a while.

Now the stars have been enjoyed the road is salted, the animals are cared for, and the 4x4 is at the base of the hill. Time for coffee. :)

And welcome back! That flu is a real killer! And it has a new trick I haven't heard of before: Re-infecting people. You can finally be over it and -BANG! - it's got you again! Bizarre!

Glad you got some observing in. It's been -0F. here at night for weeks! It was -19F. with wind - making it feel -45F. a week ago. So I've decided to be a Bear until Spring: Hibernate!

Catch you 'round the Salt-Mines -

Welcome back, Pleiades! Glad you're feeling better. That flu is a beast this season. Take good care of yourself and get in some good stargazing. I'm dealing with SNOW down here in middle Georgia. Can you believe it? Good a nice inch in my yard, but it will probably last only a day. Things are supposed to clear out tonight, but it will be brutally cold (for us Southerners anyway). Temps will rebound into the 60s by the weekend:p
