Hey guys! New to the forum here. Ive been in love with space since I can remember and have been into astronomy for about a year now. Started off on a Celestron Powerseeker and quickly graduated to a Nexstar 8se. I just aquired an AVX mount and have been dabling in DSLR astrophotography, although I have not had the chance to use the AVX yet. Clouds, of course! Im younger than most in the hobby. Only 25 and my friends think I'm a dork. But who cares! I look forward to conversing and learning from everyone involved. Check out my instagram! @CosmicMachinist

Welcome to AC, Just checked out your Instagram and followed you. If I wasn't a programmer I would probably be a machinist lol, I've always been interested in making things so it would have been next logical choice. I'm 27 and I couldn't be any dorkier I know exactly how you feel :)

    Hey CosmicMachinist,
Welcome and I just joined today and from Ohio as well. I too have been in the machine industry for over 37 years. I ran a 5 axis Sorluce as well as many other machines and am a machine builder as well, (or I was). Now retired, I'm enjoying the passion of my youth with astronomy. BTW, I will always be a nine year old at heart.
