When I look at the InSight probe I wonder how stable it will be in high winds. I know that Mars has an atmosphere and giant storms. I don't know what the windspeed gets up to but those solar panels look like they might catch some wind.

From what I've heard the cubesats did not go into orbit but just passed by Mars. I haven't heard or seen about any message on them directed at any future possible finders of the cubesats. The other space probes that have messages directed at aliens I often think about because with ongoing technological advancements we could very well be the beings who recover them. Maybe we should start thinking of them as time capsules and apply messages in this regard.

Now I'm thinking about space probe reusability. They are currently not thought about in that fashion or made that way. Some day they probably will be. If there is a chance we could recover them maybe we should make them upgradeable.
