Signed up today, can't be in too many groups, something new every day somewhere. Brief resume; telescope geek from the '50s, Unitron 2.4 still in my possession, current main scope a Meade 16 LX200 in roll-off out backdoor. Live in eastern Wa, AC not DC, in the dark desert on the Columbia river. Main interest now is astro-imaging. I remember those Palomar pics from the '50s and now I can do them at home!

    Clear skies to all,
    Steve

    He Steve,
Glad you're here. I'm a telescope geek from the 50's too!

Those are mint Unitrons. Mine, OTA only, has seen its share of mods, but still in use. Last time for transit of Venus with an old Criterion Ha filter.
