I am quite chuffed at capturing the GRS, Io, and Io's shadow as it traversed across Jupiter. I wasn't following an ephemeris of Jupiter or its moons and just happened to gaze at Jove through my reflector. I saw Io just past the edge of Jupiter and a distinct shadow near the limb. And then I noticed the GRS! A most photographic moment!

    Happy 2023!

Happy New Year, Reggie. Great image in every respect.

Isn't it funny how we spend so much time planning, only to stumble upon an opportunity that blows all our efforts away!
