    EarthSky.org published my recent Saturn image on their website! Mine is the 9th image on the webpage; here's the link:

    Here's the original image, a composite of two images taken a few nights before opposition with my 180mm Mak, Orion Deep Space Video Cam II and the Orion 2x Shorty Barlow:

    I'm getting famous, lol :p

    No s**t Reggie! You really is! Poor you - next you'll have a bunch of 'teeny-bopper groupies' chasing you! Better watch out - I had 'groupies' myself: 13 year old girls wanting me to come home with them (their parents were at work, they volunteered) and listen to Steppenwolf doing"Magic Carpet-Ride" with them.

    I had to learn how to run pretty quick! :D*

    Excellent Saturn! Best one to date IMHO!

    * true story!

    LOL, thanks, Dave. Now, I can relax a little bit on the imaging until the dust storm on Mars subsides. These late nights/early mornings get to you after a while :oops:! Some people have been reporting a little detail visible despite the storm. I'm going to give it a little more time. Mars still rises pretty late/early. I need to sleep!

    Thanks, Pleiades! I'm still learning though. After the Mars opposition I'll probably take a break from AP and focus on observing. Thanks for looking! :)

    When I get to the AP point in this hobby, I'll be asking you a lot of questions.
