    I live in Oregon and my house is about 10 miles from the center of the path. Can't wait !

    Seeing the eclipse all comes down to luck with weather of course. I'm not far from South Carolina, but I think I'll give it a try in Nebraska. It has a good trade off between prospects for weather and driving distance. Besides, I've never been to Nebraska! Anyone else have a preference for location?

    Peter, I hope you're not on the coast. I attended Fred Espenak's presentation at NEAF where he laid out the information that's contained in Brian Ventrudo's article, and he said the Oregon coast is one of the worst places to be because of the early morning fog. Casper, Wyoming was the best place in the country.
