    There is a total Lunar eclipse on the night of September 27/28 that will be visible from eastern United States. Anybody plan on watching?

    Expectations are high and frustration can be high as well. For a distance of 200km of my site, forecast says 60% chance for rain overnight. I hope it will better next days.

    Your "lemon experience" sure beat mine. I got to see it just starting, then it totally clouded over for rest of the night :-(

    Well that's a bummer, Bill! I think you probably get more good observing weather than I do over here usually. It was pretty much a fluke to NOT get clouded out here. :rolleyes:
    I hope the now-brewing storm doesn't create trouble for you in Virginia! Hang on!
