If men are from Mars and women from Venus, a lovely dance will be taking place this first week in October. The two planets will be in conjunction in the pre-dawn sky, being within the field of telescopic view on Thursday and Friday mornings (less than 1/4 degree apart on Thursday and about a half-degree on Friday). A great visual and photographic opportunity!
Here are some planetary conjunctions with Venus and Mars that I photographed recently at prime focus using my Nikon D3200:

    Venus and Neptune

    Mars and Uranus

I look forward to seeing these two together. Should make an awesome couple!

    Clear skies,
    Reggie

Thanks, Ed. I plan to catch Venus & Mars this week. I have Friday off so maybe I can set up a telescope shot.
