    Those 15x70 binoculars sound formidable. I have a Russian pair of 20x60s,I bought them about 35 years ago, and they have 'made in the USSR'on them plus writing in Cyrillic! They give wonderful views but are too big for day to day use requiring a tripod to hold still for long.the only way to give a reasonable non tripod view is resting on a wall or a blanket on the ground looking strait up!they'll split alberio but then so can my 8x25 monocular ,just.
