Beautiful! I see what people were talking about by the "floating" effect of this EP. Its not like you're looking "into" the EP, its more like the image is just "hanging" in front of your eye. Pretty cool! The image was pretty sharp, even in the big dob. However, it wasn't quite as dark (background) or sharp, as it was in the 4" frac. It will be one for my refractor case for a looonngg time to come. I really like it.

I like my RKE too, but I like my 24mm Vernonscope Brandon even better. But that's my personal preference.

I miss my 28mm RKE. Many years ago it was stolen along with my Edmund Scientific 3" reflector. I miss that scope too.

Its a shame how much astro stuff gets stolen. Usually stolen and NOT used again either. Some humans aren't very nice people.

The unfortunate thing is, I know who stole the telescope and eyepiece, but I couldn't prove it. I also know for a fact that they never used it as their mindset was one of paranoia and not science. I always thought (and still do) that it would show up for sale somewhere and I would be able to regain it. On the tripod are the numbers 30555113 I stenciled in my self.
