    Last night I wanted to image the Ring Nebula framed in a wider panorama. I will say that imaging deep sky in a Bortle 9 area isn't without its challenges. It's not like I would be able to get in dark skies with a deep sky camera, but I'm happy with it.

    I'm happy with it, too, Ed. Nice shot! It reminds me of this shot I took through my 127mm Mak a few years ago with the Orion Deep Space Video Camera II:

    I don't remember the actual camera settings (this was about four years ago) but I was pretty stoked after processing the video in Registax!

    Very nice, Reggie! Now that the Winter constellations are coming up it's a good time to try imaging DSOs. I'm still playing around with Gamma, Gain and Exposure settings to try to get richer star fields in my images.
