What are you trying to do? Have an SGL "Show Us Your Eyepiece-Case" thread? I refuse to play. But I did once in SGL years ago. If you're so curious - go there, give stuPUD a kissey-on-the-lips, and go through those many pages and find the picture I submitted.

Hint: I have 3 CASES. Just for my eyepieces. And quite a few overflowed and are living in protective cases on my main equipment-table.

    Now scat!

That is NOT a Cat. THAT is a Maine Coon-Cat. A different animal completely. They don't act like a Cat at all. Show some respect. And they grow huge! "I can take it!" is like saying you could punch-out a Mountain-Lion!

You'd wind up in hospital - at least.

My filter has departed Los Angelas and is in flight to the East Coast. Claims delivery by Thursday. Which means it'll be here tomorrow.

A cat's a cat. Unless it's bigger than me, I could take it.

You can't move anywhere near as fast as a four-armed Feline with hands like Freddy Kruger and a mouth like Jaws.

    To presume otherwise is delusional.

I've trained under Japanese samurai and some of the *Hereford lads used to train at my old Jujitsu club. I used to train regularly with a couple of them. Once you've trained with samurai and SAS, cats aren't any problem. I regularly whack the cats that come into my garden. I got one with a ball hammer a couple of nights ago, and I'm physically disabled. They aren't half as fast and clever as they think they are. lol

    T.T. Liang - trained & armed here.

I'd simply hook your wheelchair from behind and hoist you into a tree. Then dump a bucket of powdered-catnip on you and turn on my video-cams.

I won't let you harm a Maine-Coon. But to make you feel better - here's some of Trump's America to cheer you up:

I don't use a wheelchair. Any cat on my property is trespassing and will have to accept the consequences. That's only fair lol.

    It finally made it!

    celestronmars.jpg

It looks OK, seems almost identical to the Orion in tint. Its threads seem to fit all my ortho's. The housing is different to the Orion and seems lighter. The plastic case is a bit fiddly for me to open, but is nicely compact.

Mine is a day out - sitting in Nashua, New Hampshire. Just got a notice from the USPS (Untied Snakes Postal Service).

In your photo it seems to be reflecting 'green.' That's a good sign. I'll be interested to find out how deeply 'Magenta' it is. Is it more like the B+W FL-D? Which is a light 'magenta.' Or like the Tiffen FL-D? A deeply'magenta? Like the Orion Mars-Filter.

Please don't spoil my Mystery du Jour! :p

I'm guessing the glass part of the Orion and Celestron are made by the same OEM on the same production line.

I have an extra case for mine. I was looking at your photo and was thinking about that - as you were typing your impressions on that.

What was the price you paid - in either ££ or €€?

I paid 37 quid, although that included an import fees deposit.

    Hmmm.....£37 GBP = $48.5408USD

vs. $39.95 over here from Agena. You guys really get gouged with all your VAT and such. It really reminds me of the DPRK (North Korea) and their "Juche" principle of self-reliance.

    Thanks for the answer.

The wind is howling here and the temperature is dropping. But on Saturday through Monday we're looking at up to 110°F. with high-humidity. It's the first-time in history we've ever had a forecast for anything higher than 95°F. EVER in the history of Vermont.

Here's to hoping my A/C (air-conditioner) is up to the task. Should be - it's a Panasonic I bought from the New Jersey Mafia by outmuscling them. Or I'll have 'em whacked.....

IDK, a lot of GSO/Revelation stuff and Baader is actually cheaper here than in the US, even taking value added tax into account. I got stiffed on the Celestron Mars filter because I paid about 8 quid in import duties.

I've changed my mind about global warming, it isn't such a good idea after all.
