Tonight, while I was outside with my dog, I spotted the Moon-Mars cojunction in a hole in the clouds. I had to take the pictures quickly if I was going to get anything at all. I put the 55-250mm lens on my camera and snapped away at a few different ISO and Shutter Speed values. Of all the pics I took this was the only one that was sharp and showed the conjunction.

It's nothing special, but I thought you might like seeing it.

It's a special moment and you captured it, Ed. The simultaneous opposition of two celestial objects in close conjunction. I dodged clouds all night here in Georgia but got some images during cloud breaks. I'm posting right now.

I wish I would have had more time to try to capture some lunar detail, not just a bright disk.
