The good folks at Explore Scientific are clearing out the last of their nitrogen-purged 100-degree eyepieces (the new models are argon purged), and we've purchased the entire stock of these 9mm and 14mm ultra-wide-field oculars.

These big 2" eyepieces give incredible 'spaceship window' views of galaxies, star clusters, and nebulae framed in inky-black fields of pinpoint stars. With such a huge field of view, celestial objects are easier to locate, and with non-driven telescopes like Dobsonians the object will stay in the field of view for a long time before you need to adjust the scope.

    The 9mm nitrogen-purged 100-degree eyepieces are selling for $299.00. That's 25% off the price for the newer 9mm Ar-purged eyepieces (a savings of $100).

And the 14mm nitrogen-purged 100-degree eyepieces are selling for $337.49. That's 25% off the price for the newer 14mm Ar-purged eyepieces (a savings of $112.50).

All eyepieces are new and they're subject to the full manufacturer's warranty. These are great deals, but we're limited to stock on hand, so they won't last long.
