    Jon,

Sounds like you have apartment living/observing worked out quite nicely.

I keep my gear inside a large wardrobe, really dry place, away from constant humidity to prevent mold formation. When everything has dried correctly, the telescope rests inside a bag with silica gel, the eyepieces are inside their tool box also with silica gel, no dust.

Right now, I have no less then 12 different observation spot I can drive too! ((:) really not bad I think.

A nice set up, it definitely is better than my having to carry everything down 3 floors to set up!
Actually the carry down is the easy part, the climbing back up in the middle of the night is the hard part. :)

I keep all my scopes in the rec room, which has been re-named the Equatorial Room.

A few years ago there was a radio commercial here that was for some realtor that mentioned Equatorial Room, my wife couldn't believe that reference was made, so the name stuck. LOL

Shed, unheated with a little sliding window.
I leave the window open, it has a screen.
There is a overhang over the window so when it's raining there is no problem.
Best thing the scopes are always ready to go, always at "temp".
