I would not buy this product again.
Pros:Fast shipping
Cons:Nose Piece Too Long,No Chrom Plating,Poor Threading,Razor Sharp Edge,Set Screw In Wrong Place,Poor Quality In General
Comments:Lower edge of black tube was razor sharp. I used fine sandpaper to fix but why should I have to do this? Overall the machined quality was below par especially the threading.

Mar 13, 2012Good quality for the price.
Pros:Good price value
Cons:Rough thread engagement
Comments:The body machining is good and fits snugly in the focuser. The initial thread engagement for filters is a little rough.

Nov 8, 2009Only one minor complaint
Pros:Affordable
Cons:Nonstandard
Comments:This extension tube was just what I needed after replacing my old rack-and-pinion "junk" focuser with a low-profile Helical Crayford focuser from Kine Optics. My only complaint is that the thumb screw that secures the eyepiece is too close to the top edge of the barrel. This difference makes it hard to secure eyepieces such as Vixen LVs that feature a "safety groove", since the misplaced thumb screw "misses" the groove.
