Product Info

Manufacturer Description

Blue Fireball's heavy duty Binocular-to-Tripod L Adapter is perfect for mounting any size binocular with 1/4-20 threading to a 1/4-20 tripod head found on photo and telescope tripods. The L-bracket is made of black anodized aluminum (unlike the cheaper plastic ones you may see on the market).

It features two mounting holes (spaced 16mm / 0.63" apart) so that you can adjust the position of the bracket/binocular on your tripod for better balancing. The height of the adapter is approximately 108mm / 4.25" and the length of the shorter horizontal base is 49mm / 1.93".

The width of this adapter is 1.18" (30 mm), so please ensure that the intra-ocular distance of your binoculars is greater than this when you use them.

      5.0 Solid and sturdy

      Pros:

      Cons:

      Comments:

Absolutely bosses Skymaster 15 x 70s on tripod. Have no doubt this'll manhandle any large binocular thrown at it.

      5.0 Strong, silent type

      Pros:

      Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Comments:

A great product at a great price! Used with my 20x60 Tascos and 10x70 Fujis. The Fujis are quite heavy and this mount has no problems with the weight. The knob is easy to use in the dark and with lightweight gloves. Well designed!

5.0 Blue Fireball bino tripod adaptor, heavy duty review

      Pros:

      Lightweight,Compact,Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Comments:

This binocular tripod ''L'' adapter is built very sturdy, much better than a similar one from another vendor. It tightens down solidly against the binocular with use of the big knurled knob and holds steady for amazing viewing either on land or in the sky. A must have for all your binocular viewing needs, especially if bino is rather heavy. I am very well pleased.

5.0 The only way to go for bino mounting

      Pros:

      Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Comments:

The thick metal construction of this L-bracket makes it far more suitable for mounting binoculars on a tripod than the plastic brackets which often come with binoculars. And Agena's price makes it a VERY good value!

      5.0 Perfect Match

      Pros:

      Strong Construction

      Cons:

      Comments:

I ordered a very large set of Binoculars from a rewards catalog. Zoom advertized that you could see the craters on the moon. I can now that I have ordered this bracket and mounted them on a tri-pod. Extremely stable. Exactly what I needed.
