Manufacturer Description
Collimate your Catadioptric or Newtonian reflector style telescopes without tools!
It's easy...just grab a Bob's Knob collimation thumbscrew and turn. You can even do it while looking through the eyepiece on most scopes. These thumbscrews are also much easier to use with gloves on. And perhaps most importantly, you'll never drop that pesky little Allen wrench or screwdriver into the grass again. Installation is a snap with the included instructions, and you can undo the modification at any time.
Part: CNspr (formerly MLBspr)
Fits: Meade Lightbridge models (8”, 10”, 12”) except 16”
Primary mirror springs as supplied by the factory can sag from the weight of the mirror cell. Our stainless steel replacement springs are stronger and provide adequate support to maintain primary mirror collimation. We recommend that the mirror locking screws remain in place for additional control.

Much better
Pros: Cons: Comments:I ordered these to upgrade the springs on my apertura 12AD scope. It's a big improvement in both the collimating process and holding collimation.
