Nov 14, 2018Telrad: can't live without it!
Pros: Cons: Comments:An extra base makes it easy to move my Telrad from one 'scope to another. For a week or two I used my new telescope without the Telrad and missed it sorely.

Apr 24, 2018Multi Scopes Now Possible

Mar 25, 2018Extra telrad base
Pros: Cons: Comments:Not really a lot to say: its an extra Telrad base so you can use on your Telrad on additional telescopes. Just need to recenter the target to match the eyepiece target.

Jul 25, 2017Telrad base

Apr 28, 2017TELRAD base
Pros: Cons: Comments:This allows one to move a single TELRAD finder from telescope to telescope. The TELRAD finder is the best, and this allows maximum usage.

Apr 20, 2017Multiple telescopes one Telrad
Pros: Cons: Comments:I recently picked up another telescope. They do seem to accumulate once you embrace the hobby. I prefer the Telrad for pointing better than an optical finder. If I'm only going to use one scope at a time why not move the Terad from scope to scope. Easy, peasy

Feb 17, 2017Mounting Base for Telrad
Pros: Cons: Comments:Excellent and inexpensive product. Will allow you to use your Telrad finder on different telescopes. Once it is stuck on there, good luck trying to take it off again! It's a pretty permanent installation. Very strong tape.

Apr 5, 2016Tip on easy way to remove baseplate from telescope
Pros:Quality Lenses,Compact,Accurate,Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:I had two of these base plates on my C8 and when I sold it I wanted to remove them a simple way easy and clean way to remove them is just to use dental floss'... took of a piece of dental floss, tied to loops in the ends , slipped in marking pens for handles and then just slip it under the end of the base plate and saw back-and-forth gently pressing down on the tube ... and it comes off cleanly and quickly... there's a little bit of adhesive of left on the tube but that's very easy to remove with a plastic spoon or even your fingernail just scrape gently ....

Aug 22, 2015Telrad baseplates work great
Pros:Lightweight,Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Quality Lenses,Accurate
Cons: Comments:These base plates are easy to mount on rings or telescope tubes I prefer mounting them on a ring because I don't like sticking it on the telescope tube ... if I put it on SCT I just remove maybe 1 inch from each end of the sticky stuff and then press it against the edge of the rear mirror cell so I get a perfect 90

Sep 11, 2014Telrad Base
Pros:Essential Equipment,Easy to Use
Cons: Comments:On my dob, the Telrad is essential equipment, helping to find objects quickly and easily! So why not use a telrad on my 25x100 binoculars? So after purchasing an extra base and doing a little MacGyvering, I'm now using the telrad on my giant binoculars. Agena Astro Products is always the first place I look for this kind of stuff!

Dec 18, 2010Simple design & great performance
