Manufacturer Description
GSO's Kellner eyepieces offer an affordable foray into the world of widefield 2" eyepieces without breaking the bank. These are very good, 3-element, fully multi-coated eyepieces that provide very good flatness of field and eye relief. They feature rubber grips on the housing and foldable rubber eyeguards for comfortable handling and use. All eyepieces have blackened lens edges for improved contrast, and come with two end caps. GSO Kellner eyepieces are available in 3 focal lengths (26mm, 32mm and 40mm).

Decent cheap 2" eyepiece set
Pros: Cons: Comments:These were decent 2" eyepieces. I typically use them on my 10" dob and the 40mm probably gets the most use as I'm scanning the sky. For the price they are hard to beat. I have a explore scientific 82 degree 30mm eyepiece that cost $100 more than this 3 piece set. Field of view isn't the widest at 56 degrees but all in all I'm happy I bought them. Agena astro is also a great company to buy from. Every eyepiece I've bought has come with a bolt case, and while I don't always use them for the eyepiece I got it with, a bolt case can always come in handy.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
If your budget doens't allow for an Explore Scientific or Televue and you want to start getting into some low magnification 2" eyepieces, these are a decent addition to anyones eyepiece case.

Oct 2, 2012Very good quality
Pros:Easy to Use,Quality Lenses,Strong Construction
Cons:NO CONS
Comments:Everybody knows that a Kellner eye piece is a non-expensive eyepiece because is a very "basic" design but every body also knows that observing has a lot to do with location and atmospheric conditions if you have a $400 eyepiece and your location has poor seeing conditions it will perform like a $5 eyepiece. This kellner set performs nicely without distortion at the edges and having less glass inside is lighter and less delicate when you try to clean it up. I have some sealed Ultra Wide Angle Nitrogen purged 6 and 8 elements eyepieces and is very hard to notice a great difference in image quality other than a narrower field of view. Good for afocal photography.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
