Manufacturer Description
High quality, cast-aluminum mounting rings that can be used for mounting telescope tubes on various mounts or on guidescope rails. All rings are hinged, felt-lined and have clamp-style rings for easy mounting or repositioning of the optical tube. The large clamp knob permits easy handling in all conditions, with or without gloves. The base of the rings is threaded for 6mm metric screws (not included but available at most hardware stores). Gunmetal grey finish. Each ring weighs Xoz/Yg (Coming soon). Price shown is for a set of 2 rings.

Pros: Cons: Comments:Quality item - they fit perfectly on a old C6 OTA I had. You will need metric 6mm mounting screws (vs. 1/4 x 20 U.S.) - to attach a mounting rail. I was lucky as I just happen to have 2 from a old rail I had. Very reasonably priced. And it's hard to beat Agena - these guys are AAA every time I buy there.

Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought these for an old dobsonian 6" reflector to convert into an equatorial mount. I measured the circumference of the tube and calculated the diameter. Perfect fit! Solid!

Pros: Cons: Comments:I bought a Meade SN6 without the rings. The only place where I found it and at good price was here. When I get it they fix exactly what I need, plus the two 1/4 20 holes to put a camera in piggy back are perfect!

Comments:Bought these rings to adapt an Orion XT6 Dob to an equatorial mount. They not only fit perfectly but the metal finish matched the telescope finish and the equatorial mount (Orion Skyview Deluxe). Highly recommend!

Cons: Comments:I have Celestron 6" scope that does not have provision for mounting a guide scope rail, which meant that I would need a set of rings to mount a rail. I measured the dia. of the tube and started a search for a set of rings.

Agena Astro Products had the GSO 6.93" Tube Mounting Rings which is the same dia. as the 6" sct tube. The fit is perfect, rings, guide scope rail and guide scope working like it should.
