An excellent aiming device
Pros:An Able Telrad Substitute
Cons: Comments:This is a useful product. I used a Telrad on my 10" DOB with good results for several years. But I grew tired on getting down on my knees in order to sight onto high-altitude stars and craning my neck to aim at others.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
With a laser pointer and this bracket, I can accurately aim the scope while standing comfortably upright. What a relief. And once the laser is aligned with the scope, the bracket will hold it firmly in place. This review was provided courtesy of AgenaAstro.com
May 31, 2013Very useful
Pros:Easy to Use,Lightweight
Cons: Comments:This is a great accessory if you already have a Telrad. I prefer to use a laser pointer, but from time to time may observe where lasers are frowned upon, so this gives you an easy option to switch betwen the Telrad and laser pointer. It is easy to affix to your Telrad base and I recommend this bracket to anyone needed a laser pointer and already has a Telrad base on their scope.
