Intes MN-56 Mak-Newt
Pros:Optics are tack sharp and cool quickly; The small size is a plus.
Cons:None
Comments:I have had two of these great scopes. The optics are amazing for a 5" scope. You can read a lot about these scopes on many websites and everybody says the same thing - they are great. I used mine primarily for planetary and lunar observation.
Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
Saturn was tack sharp up to around 200X in my skies. I used it on a couple of DSOs and it performed well. A couple that stand out in my mind are the Orion Nebula and Dumbell nebula. Both were sharp and had great contrast. I highly recommend this scope.Sort by
