      I bought this to replace the dovetail on my Travelscope 70 so I could get better balance. Screwed right on, is extremely well built and machined. Good quality and good value.

      5.0 Small Dovetail

      Lightweight,Strong Construction,Easy to Use,Compact,Accurate

      Bought this to mount my camera & lenses on mounts that use a Dovetail shoe holder.
      If you use it this way you would need to get a longer separate screw to fit the camera tripod mount screw.

      4.0 Should have purchased the 150mm Dovetail

      Pros:

      Easy to Use,Compact,Strong Construction

      The 100mm dovetail is a decent size when used with the double stacked Lunt 60mm Ha and a ImagingSource camera. Unfortunately when I use it for personal viewing (without the double stack) it does't sit in the mount as securely as I like.
