This design provides more than 17mm of eye relief for terrific viewing comfort while simultaneously delivering a 40% improvement in corrections for chromatic aberration and edge distortions over traditional Plössls. Nice eye relief
Pros: Cons: Comments:Purchased the 6.5mm version to serve as my highest-power eyepiece (~231x) for a 6" f/10 SCT (Celestron C6). It's a pleasure to have such comfortable eye relief at this magnification, especially compared to Plossl types. Adjustment of the eyecup is via a very smooth rotation.

Pros: Cons: Comments:This eyepiece has longer eye relief than my other short focal length eyepieces. My other eyepieces work great for me, but other people have trouble seeing stuff when I try to show them. This eyepiece has 50% more eye relief and a nice 60 degree apparent field of view, so it's easy for other people to get a quick look. I used to have the 4.5mm eyepiece and it worked well too. This eyepiece gives me a little less magnification than the 4.5mm version, for nights when seeing conditions aren't so great. No problems using it in my f/5 reflector.
