      4.0 Strong, simple, straightforward mount

      Pros:

      Strong, Simple, Smooth

      Cons:

      It is what it is, and shouldn't be criticized for not being what it isn't

      Comments:

      My M1 mount holds my Nighthawk 80mm refractor. The Nighthawk is a very heavy scope for its aperture, and the M1 holds it easily. The mount holds the scope to the side and thus allows the scope to point straight up at the zenith. The scope can be attached to the mount on either side, for the left or right eyed viewer.
      There are two separate knobs for adjusting the tension of the altitude and azimuth axis. The mount does not have fine tuning adjustments, but works fine for me up to 160X, which is about as much as you can usually get out of a small refractor on most nights.

      Bottom Line: Would you recommend this item? Yes
