The DBK21AF0.4AS FireWire camera by The Imaging Source is a Bayer color CCD camera. It comes with IC Capture software and is a breeze to use. The DBK captures images in an AVI (video) format. You capture multiple AVI frames at up to 60 FPS and then stack the frames. This technique reduces the noise to signal ratio, giving you a nicer image with shorter exposures. The DBK is very well crafted with a solid body. You will need a C/CS type 1.25" nose cone to fit your scope's focuser. A power supply is also needed if your PC's FireWire port doesn't have power. It is a 12VDC power supply and easy to use. The DBK is a great imaging camera at a very small price of $350.
