      5.0 Good mid-level eyepiece

      Not premium but quite a bit better than entry level.

      Being in a 1.25 inch body, it has a narrower field of view compared to most 2 inch eyepieces.

      But in my case the narrower field of view works perfectly since I use it in an 80mm ED scope that has a small field of view anyway.

      Plus this eyepiece is smaller and weights quite a bit less than the big 2 inch EP's you usually find in this focal length range.

      So for a small scope where size and weight matter, this eyepiece works very well for presenting a decent wide field view.

      5.0 Top Notch Finding Eyepiece

      This is a top notch eyepiece that I bought for finding and wide view purposes. I found it very well made with good contrast and excellent optics. It has become one of my favorites in the 50 degree class. I found the view to be even better than I expected over all, and I expected it to be very good because of my experience with other Vixen Plossl eyepieces.
